The NELA Welcome Wagon events at Unity Somerville -- with snacks, presenter, and class topics focused on new folks -- is low-pressure and welcoming. There'll be nice people to meet. There'll be hand-outs with information on local events. And there'll be me, someone who likes trying to answer questions or directing you to someone who has the answer. The NELA Welcome Wagon is also for seasoned kinksters, kinksters who may already have found or created community for themselves, kinksters who know where to go, how to get invited, how they fit into the greater kink world or scene. While seasoned kinksters are asked to not attend the Welcome Wagon until 7:30pm to give the newer folks time to mingle with each other (from 6:30pm-7:30pm), seasoned kinksters are very much invited to attend the class and meet some fresh faces.
