Here's what you need to know: Bound In Boston attracts a fairly even mix of beginners and experienced attendees. We don't do a lot of suspension-oriented classes. Rope suspension is obviously a very popular topic, but we haven't found a way of having enough equipment to safely and effectively teach it to a classroom full of people. We've found that our attendees really, really like active participation, so we usually favor "hands-on" classes over demonstrations and lectures. Presentations that follow a "group discussion" topic also work well. Prohibited: fire/flame/smoke Of course, we're looking for classes on rope bondage, but we do love to color outside the lines, so proposals for kinky, sexy, non-rope sessions will be happily considered as well. With few exceptions, classes are 90 minutes long. We run on a pretty tight schedule, so please make sure that your presentation fits in a 90 minute format. Unless we specifically arrange for it, we don't limit class attendance to a specific numbers of people. We've seen classes with fewer than a dozen people in attendance, and classes of upwards of 80 people. Presenter proposals are due by 12/31/12.
